The History Of The Auckland All Ford Day

The "ALL FORD DAY" is a car show organised once a year by five Auckland FORD clubs.

The AAFD is an annual summer-time (early April) event that began in the 1999 as a small club-together. Ford owners and owners of Ford-powered vehicles brought their vehicles along on the day to showcase them to other blue oval enthusiasts. Initially the event was held at The Jolly Farmer Inn in Drury but soon outgrew this so the event was moved to Ford Motor Companies' very own car park in Wiri, but over the years outgrew its area and spread to Eden Park. 2009 saw a need for an even bigger location, being North Harbour Stadium and sponsorship was obtained from all three Auckland Ford Dealerships to help fund and promote the event.

We are proud to call Smales Farm the home of the Auckland All Ford Day - now growing to around 500 show cars and approximately 2000 spectators across the day.

With spot prizes, music, fun for the children this day is suitable for the family and enthusiast alike.

Trade displays with the latest gadgets, technology and car products available will be on site along with experts to answer your questions.

A wide variety of food is available either on site or with the Smales Farm complex.

Our organizing committee is made up of representatives from the Auckland Ford Dealerships, as well as one representative from each of the five Ford Clubs - Auckland Falcon Owners Club, GT Falcon Club, Auckland Mustang Owners Club, Ford RS Owners Club & Ford Anglia 105E Enthusiasts Club.

Proceeds from the gate, food, cold drinks and ice creams go mostly to our choosen charities.
